Congrats Graduate! Time to celebrate with graduation party wording to celebrate your success. Whoever is hosting the great party, get it right with the graduation invitation wording.

Your graduation invitation should reflect the formality of the ceremony, but it doesn't have to be too serious. You might also like to consider it being suitable as a keepsake of the memorable day.

Graduation Invitation Wording

There are normally 3 forms of graduation invitations.

1. From parents or carers if they are the hosts.

2. The graduate, if they are hosting the party themselves.

3. Invitations sent out by the school.

If you send out invitations to your own graduation you might like to include a funny quotation or humorous verse.

From the parents

This is the most common form of invitation to a graduation.

Mr and Mrs (father's first name and surname)or mother's first name and surname and father'sfirst name and surname (if divorced)

From the graduate

The invitation wording can be a little less formal with a funny quote or a thank you to the graduate's family.
