Sample Condolence Letter - Death Of Sister
Dear Tina,John and I were very saddened when we read your letter today. Your sister's death comes as a great shock to us both. Julia was a great friend and we have many wonderful memories of her. Her passing will leave an empty space in our lives as it will in yours. I can remember the last time she came to visit us here in France. We spent many jolly days together basking in the sunshine and exchanging gossip over a glass of wine. We could always rely on Julia to tell us the latest about all the goings on in the village, who had got married, had a baby etc. It certainly helped us when we first moved here and were so homesick. I am sorry that John and I could not attend the funeral. But our thoughts will be with you and Tony today, being the day of the funeral, as you say goodbye to your beloved sister and our wonderful friend. Much love from Francine and John Stapleton
