Dear Mr Jones,

I am writing to thank you and all the staff at Harvey Smith & Co. for the party you held in my honour last week, and also for the beautiful watch you presented me as a leaving gift.

As I said in my speech, I've really enjoyed my fifteen years with the Company. It has been a fantastic place to work and I enjoyed being part of such a dedicated team. I certainly won't miss getting up so early in the morning but I will miss being part of the team.
