Clinch that job with effective job interview thank you notes. Sending out an interview thank you is now more important than ever. What with hundreds of candidates vying for the same job, the competition is tough.
Not only is it polite to send out an interview thank you, it also makes your potential employer aware that you really are keen on securing the job.Send your interview thank you note as soon as possible after the interview, preferably the same day. You can type or handwrite your thank you note, however, if your handwriting is not so legible, then typed is preferable. Choose some plain stationery, nothing fancy here. Good quality paper and a matching envelope will suffice. You do not necessarily need to send a lengthy letter, short and straight to the point is important here.

Other important points to bear in mind are: Always check for spelling and grammar. Nothing is worse than a page full of mistakes. I suggest you have someone proof read your interview thank you note. Check, check and check again! Check the spelling of the interviewer's name and his or her correct job title. If your thank you notes are typed, always handwrite your signature.

In light of what we discussed, I feel that my 5 years sales experience in Germany and my German language skills make me a strong candidate for the position of Sales Executive in Munich.
